Mrs. Ruth Siska, 92, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, June 18, 2010, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Shugrue officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Siska was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Extension Homemakers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Siska, Sr. and her sister, Gladys Brinley. She is survived by her son, Charles W. Siska, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Hope Mills; a daughter, Sharon Bond Ruther and husband, Don, of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren Amy Bond Craver and husband, Jeff, Wendy Siska Tew and husband Tony, Mark Bond and wife, Barbara, and Robin Siska; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah, Bond, David, and Hayden Craver, Tyler and Chase Tew, and Allen and Elizabeth Bond. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday evening at Jernigan Warren.
