Sallie Ann Stone, 84, of Wade was born in Hoke County on April 29, 1938 to the late Rhoda Locklear and Henry Harrison Pierce and departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stone; brothers, Fletcher Pierce, Plez Pierce, Casby Pierce, and John Pierce; sisters, Elizabeth Taylor, Inez Locklear, Queen Ella Allen, Nurseann Locklear, and Florence Perkins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Cape Fear Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday from 2-3:00 PM.

Mrs. Sallie Leaves to cherish her memories a sister, Margie Thompson of Wade; brothers, Tilmer Pierce of Maxton, Cleemiller Pierce of Lumberton; sister-in-law, Gladyis Pierce and many nieces and nephews.
