Mrs. Sandra Kay Morris, 72 of Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with burial following in the Church Cemetery. Sandra was born on November 28, 1944 in West Virginia to the late Helen (Fretwell) Poling (Twigg) and Cletus Poling. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist church since 1973, where she served on various teams and attended many bible study groups. She was preceded in death by her uncles, Laniere and John Fretwell; aunts, Colleen Fretwell and Miriam (Fretwell ) Collett; brothers-in-law, Thomas Morris, Lynwood Roder and granddaughter Bella Marie Morris. Surviving are her husband, Sterling R. Morris; son, Brian T. Morris; grandson, Brandon T. Morris; uncle, Robert Fretwell, uncle, Sylvester Fretwell and wife Carol, sisters-in-law, Madeline Morris Powell and husband Fredrick Ted Powell, Elanore Morris Smith, Vivian Morris Lewis, Nancy Morris Aldridge and husband David, Mary Flanagan Albert and husband Dwayne, Diane Flanagan Coakley and husband James, Roberta Morris and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Flowers are welcome, or a donation may be given to the general fund of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
