Mrs. Sarah Frances Fuqua Fuller Adkins, 80, of Fayetteville, died Friday, December 5, 2008, at Highland House Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, December 9, 2008, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Dr. Jean Ganzel and Rev. John Barbee officiating. The burial will follow at Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Adkins is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Lynn Carter and her husband, Gwin, of Fayetteville, Leslie Karen Fuller of Columbia, SC, and Jeanne Fuller Merritt of Burlington, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Toni Hiller of Deland, FL; a stepson, Charles Adkins of Huntington, WVa.; her brother, Rev. C.L. Fuqua and his wife, Freda, of Marion, OH; four sisters, Evelyn Anderson, Dorothy Reynolds, Jane McGinnis and her husband, Rev. Paul McGinnis, all of Metropolis, IL, and Ruth Troup and her husband, Pat, of Davenport, Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Monday evening, December 8, 2008, at Jernigan Warren and other times at 4894 Clinton Road.
