Mrs. Sarah Guy Griffin, 89, of 100 Twin Acres Drive, Fayetteville, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Raeford Manor in Raeford. A private service will be held. Mrs. Griffin was the daughter of the late Samuel Pittman Guy and Mary Wincy Smith Guy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Willis Griffin; son, Carl Willis Griffin Jr.; and son-in-law, Ralph David Bledsoe. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Lynn Bledsoe of Fayetteville and Shelbyville, Tenn., and Jerri Jean Griffin and husband Michael Stephen Brown of Travelers Rest, S.C.; three grandchildren, Ralph David Bledsoe Jr., Norma Lynn Bledsoe-Beal and husband Scott Beal, and Carl Julian Bledsoe and wife Dawn Bledsoe; and six great-grandchildren, Joseph Scott Walls, Joshua David Walls, Laney Phillips Bledsoe, Jeremy Lynn Ferguson, Austin Beal and Sean Beal.
