Mrs. Selina Ann Scoggins, 69, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, January 3, 2008, at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008, at 2 pm in the Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. David Holloway officiating. The burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Scoggins is survived by her husband, Joseph V. Scoggins of the home; two sons, Joseph N. Bryan of Bloomington, MN and Robert Lee Bryan of Atlanta; a daughter, Mary M. Johnson of Fayetteville; two sisters, Jo Claire Butler of Richmond, VA and Nina Kay Hord of Portsmith, VA; 3 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday evening, January 4, 2008, at the funeral home.
