SGM (Ret.) Michael A. Eitniear, 61, of Fayetteville, went home to be with his heavenly Father peacefully with his family and friends at his side on Monday, January 30, 2023.

Michael was born in Michigan on August 25, 1961, to Leroy and Cecelia Hart Eitniear.  He was a 30-year veteran of the US Army and retired as the Sergeant Major of the US Army Parachute Team.  Michael had a way of making everyone he met feel comfortable and made them feel important to him.

He is predeceased by his father, Leroy Eitniear and step mom, Debbie Eitniear.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lindsey; sons, Tanner, Ezekiel, Mark, Aaron (Krissy); mother, Cecelia; sisters, Brenda (Bruce), Liz (Kay), Jennifer; brother, Clayton (Sarah); grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron, and Adrianna; and fur baby, Saber.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
