Fayetteville- Mrs. Sharon Armitage Buhrman, 70, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, in her residence. Mrs. Buhrman was born August 23, 1937 in Marksville, Louisiana, to the late WT and Edith Armitage. She was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church, where she served on the Administrative Board and was a member of the Willing Workers Circle, the Golden Elite, and was the Past Chairperson of Caring Kitchen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 11:00 am in Camp Ground United Methodist Church with Revs. David C. Wade and Dennis Lamm officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Buhrman of the home; her children, Melissa Nunnery and husband, Pete, of Fayetteville, Todd Buhrman of Hope Mills, and Theresa Buhrman and the late Rodney Buhrman of Fayetteville; a brother, WT Armitage and his wife, Vicki, of Alexandria, LA; eight grandchildren, Catherine J. Buhrman, Christopher Strickland, Eric and Angela Strickland, Matthew Buhrman, Scooter Buhrman, Laurel Buhrman, and Morgan Nunnery; and a great-grandchild, Matthew Roberts. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Camp Ground United Methodist Church, 4625 Camp Ground Road, Fayetteville NC 28314.
