Shaw Waylon Dallas Jr., 58, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, in his home. Mr. Dallas retired after 34 years as an RBC banker. He was CFO at Family Foods. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight, Aug. 29, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mr. Dallas is survived by his wife, Tommie Jean Smith Dallas of the home; a son, Waylon Alexander Dallas of Sevierville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Myles and Corbin, both of Fayetteville; a sister, Janice Dallas Peele and her husband, Maurice, of Hope Mills; nephews, Jonathan Peele of Lynn, Mass., and Christopher Peele of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Jackie Smith Warner and husband Alex of Hope Mills; nephew, Teddy Warner of Raleigh; niece, Molly Warner of Hope Mills; and numerous friends he loved as family.
