Mrs. Shelby Jean Hutchinson Wallace, 69, of Hope Mills, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Wallace attended Massey Hill High School and managed the soda shop at Massey Hill Drug Co. for 30 years. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, August 19, 2006, in Massey Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Evans officiating. The burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, Charles Wallace, of the home; son, C.D. Kirkendoll and his wife, Donna, of Lumber Bridge; daughters, Camellia Barfield of Grays Creek and Tonya Anderson and her husband, Denis, of Grays Creek; grandchildren, Shawna Curry, Clint Barfield, Chandler Anderson, and Christian Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Rachel and Chase Curry.
