Shirley May Adair, 86, of Hope Mills, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at her daughter's home, with her family by her side.

Shirley was born on June 2, 1936, in Maine, to the late Frank Gero and Treffina Pendleton Gero.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 2-3 p.m. with a funeral service following at 3 p.m.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.  She had a love for animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Adair

She is survived by her son, Michael William Posada; daughters, Cheryl Ann Newman, and Joette Sue Posada; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
