Fayetteville: Mrs. Shirley J. Harris, 83, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at the Carolina Rehabilitation and Care Center. Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her mother and father; Gertrude and Hovey Lyons. Shirley J. Harris is survived is by her husband Hearvy "Art" Harris of the home, sons; Stephen Harris of Roseboro, Stanley Harris of Fayetteville, Jeffrey Harris of Tennessee, Michael Harris of Georgia, daughters; Jody H. Raper of Monroe, Dana H. Davis of Fayetteville, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Shirley J. Harris will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10am in the Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Archie Barringer. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 4pm to 6pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.
