Shirley K. McKenzie FAYETTEVILLE - Ms. Shirley Elizabeth King McKenzie, 82, of Fayetteville, formerly of Clinton, died Sunday morning, April 18, 2010, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Ms. McKenzie is survived by her son, Larry Way Miller and his wife, India Stanton Miller, of High Point; grandchildren, Trace Michael Davis, India Gabrielle Davis and Slade Stanton Way Miller; daughter, Margaret Cheryl Fann and her husband, Lloyd Fann, of Fayetteville; and grandson, David Ashford Fann of Carolina Beach. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St., Fayetteville. Shirley was an avid gardener. She always had a special place in her heart for each grandchild and much love for her dog, Lee. Every day was filled with happiness by her family, friends and life.
