Shirley Horne McLaurin, 86, of Eastover, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Gardens of Roseboro Nursing Home.

Shirley was born on December 1,1934, in Dunn, NC to the late Nicholas and Mary Young Horne.

She worked at JC Penney, loved traveling to the mountains and the beach, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland McLaurin, Sr., her siblings, and a grandson, Leland McLaurin, III.

Shirley is survived by sons, Leland, Jr. (Teri) and Craig; daughters, Debbie Jones and Carla Loney (Jaime); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept 3, 2021 at 10am in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
