Mrs. Shirley Ann McLeod, 66, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. McLeod worked for Cumberland County schools for the past 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leighton McLeod; and her daughter, Susan McLeod. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Don Baldwin and the Rev. Randal Strickland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. McLeod is survived by a daughter, Linda Haire and husband Tony of Stedman; two sisters, Vonnie Herman and Lucille Canady, both of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren, James, Jeremy and Courtney.
