Mrs. Shirley J. Warner, 78 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 in Carillon Assisted Living in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. with Rev. Carlton McDaniel, Sr., officiating. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to her beloved family. Mrs. Warner was a co-owner of Gary Warner, Inc. TV & Appliance Repair. She was a former member of Faymont Baptist Church. Shirley was a faithful member at Village Baptist Church where she taught first grade Sunday school for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents William Stacy, Sr. and Lillie Bruton Smith, husband Gary D. Warner, daughter Brenda W. Carter. Mrs. Warner is survived by her daughter Cindy Warner McDaniel and husband Carlton of Raleigh, sister Betty Faircloth and husband Wayne of Hope Mills, brother William "Billy" S. Smith and wife Connie of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C., granddaughter Lindsay Hallimore and husband Jericho, grandson Caleb Warner McDaniel . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Able to Serve 157 Technology Dr. Garner, N.C. 27529.
