Mrs. Sieglinda M. Navarra, 72, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She leaves behind her husband of more than fifty-four years, Freddie R. Navarra; a son, Josef Roy Navarra; a daughter, Mrs. Sally Navarra Zufelt and her husband, David W. Zufelt; two grandsons, Josef Aaron Navarra and Frederick R. Zufelt; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Melissa Z. Cantu and her husband, Emilio Cantu. Linda was originally from Bamberg, Germany. She came to the United States as a young Army bride. As the wife of an Army soldier, she assisted the Family Readiness Group activities, helping other military wives adjust to Army life. Linda was an awesome cook, a superior housekeeper, and an avid lover of Bingo--always needing only one more number and set up several different ways. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 9:00am in Jernigan-Warren Chapel.
