Sigrid Linke Walters, 91, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her home after a brief illness.

Sigrid was born April 17, 1931 in Coburg, Germany to the late Johanna and George Linke. In 1954, she became a U.S. citizen. She was preceded in death by her husband, CWO3 Retired William F. Walters and a brother, Herbert Linke.

She was a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1-2:00 PM.

She is survived by her sons, William "Bill" D. Walters and David W. Walters.
