Retired Army Chief Warrant Officer Spence Frank \\"Tom\\" Sawyer, 89 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, in Hihgsmith-Rainey Hospital Mr. Sawyer was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. Friday in Jernigan-WArren Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial with military honors in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at 227 Stacy Weaver Drive. Survived by: Wife, Mary; daughter, Judith Gainey; son, Thomas; sister, Louise Williams; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
