Stephen L. Beck, 75 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, Oct 20, 2016. Steve was born on April 1, 1941 to the late David O. Beck and Annie Beck of Fayetteville, NC

He served in the Army as a Military Police at Sandia Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Returned to Fayetteville and later started Becks Plumbing Business and served the community for 33 years. Steve loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and was a long time member of Manna Church, Fayetteville, NC which he served faithfully for many years. Steve also loved sports, best known for Road Biking, Mountain Biking, Triking and most of all Pickleball.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Annie Beck.

Steve is survived by his wife, Jodie Beck, son Stephen Beck and wife Trish Beck of Fayetteville, NC, Daughter, Kim Taylor and husband Jamie Taylor of Weldon, NC, a sister Ann Owen of Cayce, SC, His grandchildren: Devin Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Ian and Aiden Taylor, Daniel Graham, Matthew, Aly, Tyler and Piper Beck.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Manna Church 5117 Cliffdale Rd. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2pm in Manna Church. followed by burial in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Manna Church in his memory to the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
