Steve Randell Reynolds, 62, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his residence.

He was retired from the U.S. Army as SGM after 28 years of service. He received the South West Asia Service Metal with Bronze Service Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal and the Humanitarian Service Metal.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, and Wednesday from 8:30- 9:30 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Edna East and Joel Hubert Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Chongsuk Reynolds; daughters, Samantha Reynolds, Rindy Swain, and Maranda Meeks; brother, Joel Reynolds; 9 grandchildren.
