FAYETTEVILLE - Stewart T. Smallwood, 79, of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 2, 2011, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, May 5, 2011, in Cedar Falls Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today. Mr. Smallwood was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Laurie D. Smallwood. Mr. Smallwood is survived by his wife, Joyce Tew Smallwood; daughters, Gail Smallwood Nazarchyk and husband Kim, and Deborah Smallwood Hubbard and husband Steve; sisters, Leila Russell, Thelma Copeland and Shirley Watson; brother, Willis Smallwood; grandchildren, Nick Nazarchyk and wife Tiffany, Alan Nazarchyk and wife Jennifer, Amanda Hubbard, Adam Hubbard, Christopher Smallwood and wife Neijab, Rachel Smallwood Jeter and husband Chris, and Nikki Smallwood Williams and husband Steven; and great-grandchildren, Faith Smallwood, Darien Smallwood, Jason Williams, Jeremy Williams, Kaydee Jeter and Riley Nazarchyk.
