Sue Bishop Sturcken has gone from an earthly angel to a heavenly angel on June 21, 2018 after a long fight with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

She was born July 2, 1948 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Elbert and Irene Bishop.

Sue never met a stranger. So selfless, always putting others needs above her own.

She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Bishop Creed Powers, her brother Gerald Bishop, her niece Christy Skoniecki, and her great niece Vivian Skoniecki.

She is survived by her husband Horst Sturcken, her daughter Susan Altizer and husband Matthew, her daughter Jennifer Sturcken, her brother John Bishop and wife Betty, her sister Eva Yarborough, her grandchildren Logan, Madison, and Talan Altizer, and her granddogs Max and Hilo.

The service will be held at Praise Fellowship Church of God on Sunday, June 24,2018. The family will receive friends from 2pm-3pm and the memorial service will begin at 3pm. The family asks in lieu of flowers you donate in honor of Sue Sturcken at curepsp.org
