Ms. Tacy Stewart Brochu went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered the gates of Heaven. She was born in Harnett County, daughter of the late Frank Lynn Stewart and Bertha Hall Stewart.

She was a wife, mother and grandmother, loving, strong, and fierce. She resided at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon, NC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Brochu and siblings: Boyd Stewart, Chester Stewart, Bertie Beck, Beulah Hair, Joyce Lewis, Stella Fisher, and Mammie Hall. She is survived by death by her 7 children; Joey Brochu of Oak Island, NC, Raymond and Sharon Brochu of Fayetteville, Margaret and Red Fisher of Clement, NC, 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She will be cremated and the family will have a graveside service at 11 a.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015
