EASTOVER- Mrs. Thelma M. Adcox, 99, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover. Mrs. Adcox was a member of Green Springs Baptist Church in Parkton. She is preceded in death by her husband; Gilbert Adcox; mother, Ada McLean; father, John McLean; nine brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Thelma Adcox is survived by her daughter, Nadine Clark and husband Robert Glenn of Hope Mills, N.C.; Carolyn Newton, of Hope Mills, N.C.; and Barbara Dew of Wilmington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great grandchildren. A funeral Service for Mrs. Thelma M. Adcox will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 2PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel with the apostle Wiley Hughes officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1-2PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Green Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Parkton, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Health Care Facility at 3532 Dunn Rd, Eastover, NC 28312.
