Thomas Beauford Brock, 53, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Highsmith Rainey Memorial Hospital. Mr. Brock was retired from civil service at Fort Bragg. His favorite hobby was to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle with friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, February 13, 2007, in the Jernigan Warren Chapel. The visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service. The burial will be at a later date. Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Christi Lou Heffernan Brock of the home; mother and step-father, Lettie H. and Walter DeMetro of Fayetteville; brothers, David Michael Brock of Summerville, SC, Jeffrey Brock of Atlanta, Henry Brock of Linden, W. James DeMetro of Alva, FL, and Jerry DeMetro of Ameila, OH; and a sister, Brenda Gibson of Linden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2711 Breezewood Ave., Suite A, Fayetteville NC 28303.
