Thomas Howard Grooms Sr., 85, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a native of Hoke County, a son of the late Manley and Lula King Grooms. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, in Camp Ground United Methodist Church with the Revs. David C. Wade and Dennis Lamm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
