Thomas Killian, 83, of Fayetteville, NC, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Born in Garfield, he was raised in Rochelle Park, and he lived in Paterson before retiring to North Carolina. Mr. Killian was a carpenter, cabinet maker and chief custodian for the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton for 25 years before retiring in 1992. Beloved husband of 63 years to Lila (nee Durkin); loving father of James W. of Waldwick, Janice W. Burkett of Fayetteville, NC, Jeffrey W. and his wife, Sonia of Sequim, WA and John W. and his wife, Ana Marie of Fayetteville, NC; proud grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of 1 and dear brother of Louise Folz and her husband, Carl of Hackettstown and the late James Richard. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 4pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home, Fayetteville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 3pm to 4pm.
