MSG Thomas Allen Parent, US Army Retired, 48, died Monday, December 18, 2006. Thomas was an independent motorcycle rider who rode with the Patriot Guard. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22, 2006, at 1 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel. A burial with full military honors will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Sherry N. Parent, of Fayetteville; daughter, Amanda L. Keel of Fayetteville; and a brother, Conrad Parent of Polansprings, Maine; The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm at Jernigan Warren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Special Operation Warrior Foundation, PO Box 13483, Tampa, Florida, 33681-3483.
