Thomas C. "TC" McLaurin, Jr., 82 died at his home Thursday, December 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born December 1, 1936. to the late Thomas McLaurin and Rachel Fisher McLaurin.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie McLaurin Turner.

After serving in the US Air Force, he joined the Fayetteville Police Department and retired with 30 years of service.  TC was a dedicated member of Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church-Destiny Now Ministries. Following retirement, he saw a need and started a lawncare business to help the widows in the church. His hobbies included fishing, beekeeping, jigsaw puzzles, and working outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Glynda Faircloth McLaurin; Son, Reverend Tommy McLaurin and wife, Carol of Tulsa, Ok; Daughters, Reverend Laurie Devane and husband, Kevin of San Pedro Sula, Honduras; and Sandra Treva and husband, John, of Wade NC.; Brothers, Jesse McLaurin of Charleston, AR, and Russell McLaurin of Wade, NC; Sisters, Rebecca Simmons of Hope Mills, NC and Myrtle Adams of Greenville, NC.  Seven Grandchildren, Miles Devane, Ricky Treva, April Dies, Ashleigh Anderson, Jessica Worley, Courtney Steeves and Emaleigh Treva; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 29 from 7-9 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Service will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverends Wiley Hughes, Gary Strickland and Tommy McLaurin officiating.  Interment to follow at LaFayette Memorial Cemetery.
