Timothy Register FAYETTEVILLE - Timothy \\"Hunkie\\" Register, 78, died in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Monday, Aug. 10, 2009. He retired from Holts service station in Asheboro. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrtle; and his parents, Timothy and Katie Register. He is survived by his six children, Michael Register and wife Linda of Jacksonville, Dianne Lockamy and husband Jerry of Wade, Brookie Bryant of Hope Mills, James Register, Betty Hall and husband Mike of Elizabethtown and Sharon Register of Pennsylvania; brother, Alton Register of Massey Hill; sister, Shirley Culbreth of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. The burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Aug. 12, 2009, at the funeral home. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
