FAYETTEVILLE - Sergeant First Class Retired U.S. Army Todd James Chapman, 54 of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Todd was born on October 19, 1961 in Townsend, Vermont. He was preceded in death by his father, James Chapman.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Father Jack Kelly, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Sunday. Burial will take place in Vermont at a later date.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Maureen Callahan Chapman of the home; daughter, Jennifer Chapman of Guilford, Vermont; sons, Adam Chapman of Fort Riley, Kansas; Michael Chapman of Hinsdale, New Hampshire and Jack David Britten of Sanford, Florida; brothers, Jon Chapman of Troy, New York and Christopher Chapman of Brattleboro, Vermont; mother, Meredith Chapman of Troy, New York; grandchildren, Mariah Chapman, Jack Chapman and Tucker Chapman.
