Tommy Eugene "Gene" Jackson, 74, of Parkton, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his residence. A graveside Service will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 12 Noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lula Jackson; brother, Charles "Sambo" Jackson; daughter, Karen Barefoot. Surviving are his son, Bighead; sisters, Jean Artuso and Faye Williams both of Charlotte, Debra Sessoms, of Roseboro, and Janice Walker and husband Ronnie of Dunn; brothers, James Jackson of Fayetteville and Robert Jackson of Waynesville, MO; 3 grandchildren; and his beloved son, "Bighead".
