FAYETTEVILLE - Tony L. Hedgpeth, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Hedgpeth was a member of Good News Baptist Church in Bladenboro. He was retired from DeVault's Furniture, where he was a furniture salesman. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Good News Baptist Church cemetery in Bladenboro. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mr. Hedgpeth is survived by his daughters, Barbara Jean Thorne and husband Don of Fayetteville, Kim Stadermann of Raleigh, and Tammy Salmon and husband Tom of Fayetteville; son, Danny Hedgpeth of Elizabethtown; brothers, Ronald Hedgpeth and wife Gail of Chadbourn and Wade Hedgpeth and wife Esterlene of Chadbourn; seven grandchildren, Charlie, Gregory, Phillip, Krystle, Stephanie, Matthew and Melissa; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Howell Hedgpeth; wife, Sadie Graddy Hedgpeth; son, Howard Hedgpeth; and brother, Charles Hedgpeth.Visitation: 6-8pm Tuesday November 27 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home
