FAYETTEVILLE- Troy Fletcher Fogarty, 83, of Fayetteville, died Monday, December 14, 2009. Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 17, 2009, at 2 pm in Grace United Methodist Church with the Reverend Henry Hunt officiating. Burial in Lafayette Memorial Park will follow the service with military honors. Visitation will will be held today,Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mr. Fogarty served in the United States Army and served in the Korea and Vietnam wars and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He retired as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Fogarty is survived by son, Amos Troy Fogarty and wife Pattie of Fayetteville; daughter Patricia Dale Cruze of Fayetteville; sister, Christine Gilbert of Cordell, GA; nine grandchildren, Michael Dennis, Katherine Jones, Gregory Paul, Alex Cruze, Troy Fogarty and Leonard Barbour; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Barbour, Ryan Barbour, and Elise Fogarty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie Fogarty; daughter, Angela Marie Barbour; and great-grandchild, Toby Jones.
