Vera B. King, 91 of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Highland House Nursing Home. Vera taught music for over 30 years in the Fayetteville City School System. A Graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 5 p.m.at Lafayette Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Milton Gilbert officiating. Vera was preceded in death by her sisters, Elinor King Varnedoe, Raye King Hensdale, Lucretia King Gilbert; all of Fayetteville. Surviving are her sister, Marcell King Stanley of Fayetteville; brother, William Raymond King, Jr. of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
