Miss Vera Molohoskey, 77, of 405 Forsythe St., Fayetteville, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Miss Molohoskey was a retired civil service employee with moral support activities and service clubs in Germany, Korea, Vietnam, Alaska, Fort Carson and Fort Bragg. She was a founding member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Magadore, Ohio. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Jan. 10, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Miss Molohoskey is survived by two brothers, Serge Molohoskey of Spring, Texas, and Walter Molohoskey of Akron, Ohio; her nephews, Alex Carney, Stephen Molohoskey, Walter Molohoskey and David Molohoskey; and her nieces, Elizabeth Carney, Susan Watthuber and Tonya Molohoskey.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Olga Molohoskey, Nancy Carney and Alexandra Molohoskey; a niece, Mary Sue Molohoskey; and her parents, Maria Pristash and Elias J. Molohoskey.
