Mrs. Vernice R. Wall, 83, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, September 27, 2015, in her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Vernice was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frances Wall. She is survived by her sons, James T. Wall (Michelle) of Cedar Bluff, AL and Carlton W. Wall (Mary) of Daphne, AL; daughter, Debra Taylor (Sherry Hardin) of St. Pauls; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Lois Allen of Four Oaks, Roberta Lewis of Fuquay-Varina, and Vivian Manski and Annie Belle Ruegsegger, both of Fayetteville; and a brother, Levon Roberts.
