SFC Vernon William Boso, US army Retired, 80 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday September 20, 2011. He was a veteran of Vietnam & Korea. He retired from the Army in 1973 and went to work for Kelly Springfield for 22 years & retired again in 1995. He was loved by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 10am to 11am at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with the funeral starting at 11am in the funeral home chapel, burial with full military honors will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. His loving wife of 53 years is Margarete E. Boso, his son is Rolf Boso & wife Linda, He was preceded in death by a son, Peter Boso in 1970, his 3 daughters are Marion Gold, Susan Lance & her companion Chris Scott & Allison Boso. He has 6 grandchildren & 8 Great-Grandchildren, Billy & his wife Kristin Calton & their children, Logan, Mia & Jordan, Stephan Calton & his children, Chloe, Alyssa & Molly, Jeffery A. Bush, Jr, Michael Boso & wife Maggie, Jennifer Gold & her children, Damien & Kaelyn, and Kenny Gold.
