Virginia Herring Bolton, 77 Mrs. Virginia Bolton, 77, of Fayetteville, formerly of Erwin, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Womack Army Medical Center. Mrs. Bolton was born in Harnett County on December 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Lattie Herring and Ruth Byrd Bolton and was preceded in death by her husband Command Sergeant Major David Eugene Bolton Sr. and a son Jeffery Alan Bolton. Mrs. Bolton dedicated her life to her family and serving the Lord. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her husband, children, grand-children and great grand-children. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville by Pastor James Taylor. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. The family will receive friends 2 to 3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Survivors include son David Eugene Bolton Jr. and companion Mikki Morris of Fayetteville, NC; daughter Jessica Fields and husband Norman or Erwin, NC: two brothers Larry Herring and wife Phyllis of Erwin, NC and Braxton Bolton of Erwin, NC; grand-children Jonathan Bolton and Joshua Bolton; great grand-children Jennifer Lambert, Harlie Holmes, Zachery Fields and Joshua Fields.
