Miss Virginia Dare Royal, 82, of Kinston, formerly of Wade, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, in Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, April 29, 2007, in Royal Family Cemetery on Wade-Stedman Road, with the Rev. Mitch Minson officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home of Ettrice Walker. Miss Royal was preceded in death by her parents, Walden and Lillie Royal; brothers, Carlyle and Spurgeon Royal; and sisters, Roberta Royal and Sadie Fields. She is survived by her brothers, Donald Royal of Fayetteville and Glenn Royal of Fayetteville, GA; sisters, Ettrice Walker of Wade and Frances Royal of Atlanta; and numerous neices and nephews.
