FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Virginia Tyree Staton, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in Eastover Gardens surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Staton was retired from Rohm-Haus/DuPont. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosalie Staton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with Dr. James Randall officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Staton is survived by her daughter, Sandra B.
