FAYETTEVILLE- Irene Bishop went to her eternal home peacefully on January 2, 2012 at the age of 93 in the home of her granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband David Fraire. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Bishop, daughter Barbara Bishop Creed, and her parents Willie and Annie Bass. We are sure they were anxiously awaiting her arrival. What a great reunion for her. She is survived by her children, John E. Bishop and wife Betty, Gerald D. Bishop, Sue Bishop Sturcken and husband Horst, and Eva Bishop Yarborough, and husband Wilson. Ms. Bishop was a charter member of Praise Fellowship Church of God, formerly C & Adams Street Church of God. She was a loving servant to her Lord and family. Mama B will be greatly missed, but her legacy and example in life will live on through her family forever.
