EASTOVER - Walter Lee Lassiter, 91, of Eastover, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Bethesda Health Care. Mr. Lassiter was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Jean Lassiter. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie A. Lassiter of the home; and sisters, Garldine Clark of Florida, Macy Stewart of Texas and Betty Jean Barnes of North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Aderley officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the funeral home. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
