FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Wanda Wallis-Jones, 65, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Wanda was a 1965 graduate of Fayetteville Senior High School and a faithful member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Cedar Falls Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Scholar and the Rev. Floyd Benfield officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Wallis-Jones is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jones of the home; sons, Tommy Wallis of Fayetteville, Michael Wallis and wife Angela of Raleigh and Steven Jones of Spring Lake; and four grandchildren, Cody Wallis, Aidan Wallis, Payton Wallis and Savannah Wallis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Falls Baptist Church Building Fund, 6181 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28311. The family will receive friends Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11am in Cedar Falls Baptist Church with Burial following at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
