FAYETTEVILLE - Wayne Keith George Jr., 60, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. George was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. He was employed with the Cumberland County tax office, was a Mason and was a member of the Clifford Duell Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Keith George Sr. and Almyra McLamb George. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. John Cook officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Joi M. George of the home; a daughter, Kristin G. Leon of Raeford; and two granddaughters, Mary Jo Grant and Ava Leah Leon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snyder Memorial Baptist Church, 701 Westmont Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
