August 4, 1930 – July 26, 2018
Weldon E. "Buck" Frazier, 87 of Fayetteville passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 surrounded by his family, who loved him very much.
"Buck" served Fayetteville as a Master Electrician for over 60 years. He also served the community for over 12 years on the Fayetteville Police Department. Mr Frazier was a platoon sergeant in the US Army and a jungle warfare instructor in the Panama Canal Zone.He was an excellent Marksman. He served during the entire Korean War. He loved the Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Franklin Frazier and Willie Mae Furr Frazier Brown, a brother Cecil Smith (Marion), a sister Edith Jones (P.D Jones) and a grandson, Christopher Frazier.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Zoraida "Sandy" Salguera Frazier, son Weldon E. "Chi Chi" Frazier. Jr, daughters Darlene Armbrister (Lynnie) Lorraine Litten, Vanessa Frazier-Rose (Jeff), grandchildren Chad Davis (Nicole), Matthew Starks (Amber) Brooke Quantock (Chris) Stephen Frazier (Natalia), Rebecca Frazier, Josh Litten, Daniel Litten and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday July 30, 2018 at 12:00pm at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street conducted by Pastor Jeff Spangler. Family and friends are welcome.
