Wilbur LeRoy Jones, 87, of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will be private at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday, 12-1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul & Amelia Schaffer Jones; brother, Robert Ralf Jones ; sister, Florence Abbott. Surviving are his wife, Peggy Jones; daughter, Susan Bruce; son, Michael Todd; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and nephews, Mike Jones & Doug Jones. The family will receive friends on Friday April 11, 2014 from noon to 1pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1pm
