Mr. Willi A. Montgomery, 58, of Fayetteville, died Monday, September 13, 2010, in his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2010, at 11 am in the Church of the Open Door with Rev. Barry Bowden officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Montgomery was a US Army veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Customer Service Representative. He was a very strong husband, father, and grandfather that loved his family. He would do anything and everything to make sure they were taken care of, especially his girls. He is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife, Loretta, who died 8 months ago after battling cancer, and they are together forever in Paradise. He is survived by his three daughters Kelly Caban of Fayetteville, Erin Jacobs and husband, Hoss, of Autryville, and Lindsey Montgomery of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Alex Caban, Aldi Caban, and Taylor Jacobs; a brother, Bruce Montgomery and wife, Sheree, of Fayetteville; sister, Briggette Roberts and husband, Steve, of Wilmington, NC; beloved granddog Mollie; and special friends Larry and Patricia Cain of Fayetteville.
