For the past 30 years, William gave his time and loved every minute volunteering with BINGO. He enjoyed fishing, whether it was in his boat or on the lake, as long as he was wetting a hook. Grandpa had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He also enjoyed making videos with his grand girls, Makayla (aka) Mickey and Mya. He spent his days watching Maury and Jerry and his nights watching wrestling.

The family will receive friends from 11-12 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home followed by a service at 12 noon in the Chapel. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors. The repass will be held at 1938 Roxie Ave. Fayetteville, N.C. 28304
